Jo Sandman: Exhibitions / News

The Jo Sandman Legacy Project is thrilled to announce that this summer, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, will open Jo Sandman: What Remains. Organized by Assistant Curator of Art Jordan Hillman, the exhibition celebrates a recent gift of thirty works and traces connections between Sandman’s use of found objects, unusual methods, and archaeological themes. Jo Sandman: What Remains will be on view from August 29, 2026 through January 3, 2027.

Sandman’s work is also currently on view in Poetic Exposures, Asheville Art Museum, Asheville, NC, through November 1.

In addition, works by the artist have recently been acquired by the Chrysler Museum of Art; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
